Listening to: Dué le Quartz: Dear...from xxx Disc 2
Reading: G. Wilson Knight: The Wheel of Fire...and Revision
Watching: Last was: Oldboy (6th time?).
As one'd imagine I'm happy with this...other things exist not to be happy about...mainly a series of exams I must undergo that draw all too near. The Leaving Cert. starts 7th of June 2006. For those of us about to die, we give you free A1s? Please...? I might actually consider murder (just a small one
It's totally hateful!
On to happier things...
I can (once I get access to my Blogger account) now put scrolly stuff of dA up on my page - yay!
I also really enjoy the Dué le Quartz album I just got, that good is.
The Leaving Cert. is nearly behind me...again.
I've almost got 300 page views, and added dignity! Woo!
My art exams went pretty well, I think, I'll upload the timed drawing exams - not my best, but they were fairly good for the time given I feel...happyish with them anyway, which is good as I haven't been happy with my drawing for a long time. So do check the scraps section for them.
And yes, computer issues. Stupid elder brother, who is meant to be a feckin' genius when it comes to these machines, managed to do some serious damage with his impatience alone.
He was too pushy on the poor thing, the screen froze (a bit), and he CTRL-ALT-DEL'd - fair enough, there was a time when I'd do the same once a day, it's Windows OS'ing like - but I wouldn't then smack the reset button and "Harrumph".
I wouldn't do it on principle before then, and since then I know I wouldn't do it because of the high probability of hugely damaging OLEAUT32.dll - which cannot be replaced, repaired or disabled so that the two former could be attempted. It is an integral DLL and as such cannot be fixed, unless through possible Bart PE-ing (great program), but I'll need a friend's help there - otherwise it's a re-install.
*sigh* He's the last PC user (rarely) in this house I should lose trust in...

Hope you're well!

Hopefully.
I mean to now begin working. I'm going to avoid spending all my time playing FFXII, or anything else for that matter - we'll see quite exactly how that goes, and instead read for something more intellectual, or better again art in some form.
I shall be ordering my new 6500fd soon, along with far too much Japanese music again, so there should be interest and inspiration. I'm also meaning to art nouveau overdose myself, with other styles too, in an attempt to have aesthetic indigestion.
Basically I'm trying to force a sort of artistic evolution upon myself to become a kind of Yoshitaka Amano, hoping that the added beauty of stylism will compensate my complete and utter loss of talent.
*fingers are now crossed*
You have have a nice touch with the pencil.
Keep it up.
